counseling & Assessments

One-on-one counseling is provided for those individual’s suffering from addiction or for the family members supporting them. These confidential sessions can be held from the comfort of your home (also known as teletherapy) or in person. Counseling will provide individuals and their families the education, the guidance, and the accountability needed to enhance a person’s road to recovery. The Biopsychosocial Assessment, Treatment Planning, and recommendations are all services provided prior to individual and family counseling. SAP Assessments are provided to individuals in need of fulfilling the Georgia Department of Transportation’s return to work requirements.

Individual Counseling Session

During each Individual Counseling Session, clients will be provided with resources to take control of their secret struggle with addiction. Each session will include evidence-based strategies to help in the change process and additional treatment planning as needed. 

Family Education Counseling Session

The Family Education Counseling Sessions include Psychoeducation on the disease of addiction. Additionally, the family will be provided community resources that aid in empowering healing and reconciliation amongst the family unit.

Biopsychosocial Assessments

The Biopsychosocial assessment is used to determine the level of care that will be needed. This assessment is a series of questions concerning the biological, psychological, and social factors that can be contributing to a person’s substance abuse, use, and/or dependence.

Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) Assessment

The SAP Assessment includes a professional evaluation of the employee and recommends appropriate education and/or treatment, follow-up tests, and aftercare.
