Who We Are

Empowerment Consulting Enterprise (ECE) was founded by Shantal Childers who has two decades of experience working in outpatient, court-mandated, and medication-assisted facilities, as well as in residential settings. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree from Savannah State University in 2002 and her Master’s from Georgia Southern University in 2018. Mrs. Childers also holds an International Certification as an Alcohol & Drug Counselor with IC&RC since 2009. Mrs. Childers is also a certified Life Coach since 2020 and is currently working to complete her second Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Recently, Mrs. Childers became a Substance Abuse Professional (SAP) Evaluator with the Georgia Department of Transportation.

Mrs. Childers has an extensive counseling background working with the Georgia Department of Corrections, Juvenile Courts, and Behavioral Health Facilities clientele. She has provided biopsychosocial assessments, group therapy, individual counseling, and treatment planning to adults and youth alike. Mrs. Childers loves working with client’s as they “put in the work” to change and enhance their lives. The goal of Empowerment Consulting Enterprise is to empower people to empower people which is Mrs. Childers life’s mission.
